Mediterranean Moon: Ashtanga Therapeutics Triopetra 2027

Welcome to Mediterranean Paradise.

We are thrilled to welcome you to our 6th annual Ashtanga & Yoga Therapy immersion retreat on the breathtaking south coast of Crete! Joey Paz and Bryce Delbridge are teaming up to offer a one-of-a-kind island adventure in Triopetra, Crete for a week of Ashtanga Yoga, self-healing with Yoga Therapy, rejuvenating beach relaxation, world-class Greek cuisine, island explorations, and a deep dive into Yoga philosophy, beginning on the New Moon – the perfect beginning of a new chapter on the Mediterranean Sea. Nature will be our greatest teacher here, providing a backdrop of already warm summer days, vast beaches and beautiful sunsets from the shala’s terrace.

The island of Crete is one of the most stunning and spectacular places on the planet. With the climate, pristine air, cuisine, and natural beauty, you will deepen your practice here like never before.

Joey and Bryce have been practicing, studying, and teaching Yoga together around the world for over a decade. As a duo, their methods and teaching styles complement each other in a dynamic, playful, and powerful way. They are extremely excited to be teaming up once again for this healing island adventure!

Bryce Delbridge is an internationally acclaimed Yoga Therapist who specializes in healing injuries and providing individualized assistance to his students to correct imbalances and repetitive use issues in the body.  Joey Paz is a global adventure guide, storyteller, and international teacher of the “alternative” BNS Iyengar lineage of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga.

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced practitioner of yoga, this retreat is a unique opportunity to take some time for yourself to recharge your spirit and heal your body in an exquisitely beautiful place.

Both Joey and Bryce maintain close ties to their teachers and mentors in Mysore, India as co-producers of the groundbreaking documentary film “Mysore Yoga Traditions,” and both are devoted practitioners of the 8 limbs of Ashtanga Yoga as taught by their teacher Sri BNS Iyengar of Mysore, India- the world’s oldest living teacher of Ashtanga Yoga at age 99, and one of Krishnamacharya’s last living students.

Daily morning practice in the refreshing sea breeze includes Yoga Therapy methodology, Ashtanga practice suitable for all levels, Pranayama, Philosophy chats, and more.

Beginners, as well as experienced yoga practitioners, are welcome and encouraged! Joey and Bryce are experts at meeting people wherever they are in their practice. All ages and levels of practitioners are warmly accommodated, whether you are a complete beginner, or a seasoned practitioner.

Food

Seasonal, regional, organic vegetarian Cretan cuisine prepared daily. Sharing meals together and enjoying the sea view! Each meal is an exquisite culinary experience. You will not believe the food!

Adventures in Nature

Beyond the retreat is a plethora of activities, including a sandy, sunny beach, cliff diving, hiking, nature walks and the crystal-blue Mediterranean Sea, just a short stroll away.

When we’re not practicing, there will be plenty of time to explore the breathtaking beauty of Crete.

This retreat is all-inclusive. All you have to do is arrive in Triopetra, and we’ll take care of all the details. This is your time to fully let yourself be present and worry free, focusing completely on your own self-care and self-healing.

Triopetra:

Triopetra is a tiny village hidden in a beachside valley on the island of Crete. It is a haven for those that seek true retreat from the fast paced modern world. Off the usual tourist trail, Triopetra’s beachfront location offers the best of Crete- living in harmony with nature, generous hospitality, a slow paced lifestyle, and the shining Mediterranean Sea.

Triopetra is one of those places where time seems to have stopped! The beach is just a few steps away from the Kretashala “Pavlos’ Place” and the guests can enjoy miles of unspoiled and deserted beaches, with turquoise, crystal-clear water in which you can swim and snorkel.
One is surrounded by Nature in its purest form that invites you to explore the healing powers of it.

This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to step out of the day to day world and find yourself in pristine Mediterranean nature while diving deeply into the practice and therapeutic potential of Yoga.

THE ACCOMMODATION:

Pavlos Place is located at the eastern part of Triopetra Beach. It is a modest Guesthouse with a family atmosphere and very comfortable rooms with own bathroom, shower, air conditioning and screen doors.

All rooms have a balcony with a view over the Libyan sea and the beach is a 2 minute walk away.

The yoga shala and terrace overlook the ocean and invite to watch the sunset.

Retreat will open officially to the public via Yoga Travel Worldwide on September 1, 2026.

This retreat is offered through our dear friends at Yoga Travel & Beyond in Munich. To register, please send an email to
hello@yogatravel.de and specify the room type you are interested in. Miki will get back to you with instructions on how to make your deposit, and get you all set up.
